VALE* Laurie Bruyeres

Its with a sad heart that I tell of the passing of Mr Laurie Bruyeres .  Laurie was a mate who I had the great pleasure of spending many hours with talking about the old days of Rugby League.

                                    Laurie was an old Wests man. 

He and I spent many a happy time at the Pratten Park Magpies reunions.

Laurie refereed  first grade between 1961-1975.

During this time Laurie had control of 239 games.

He also refereed 7 Finals and 2 Grand Finals.
