Behind this old cover is a host of Rugby League memories from the 1960’s.
A very rare photo from one of the scrapbooks
There are 11 of these wonderful books.
I was able to spend many hours reading and scanning these books.
The books cover the years 1960 to 1966.
I have scanned and copied over 200 pics and stories which is only about half of the total.
The scrapbooks were put together by a Balmain supporter who would paste the write ups on all games from the Sydney afternoon newspapers.
I have tried to get the dates, years and results of all of the games but it was not always possible.
If you see a mistake please contact me and I will fix it.
The first year in the scrapbooks is 1960.
